Welcome to Phil Young Photography, we are based in the Blue Mountains, 10 minutes from Penrith, in New South Wales.

Phil has a BA in Design and has worked in design and photography since 1984. His wedding, portrait and commercial photography services are available to the Blue Mountains, Penrith, Western Sydney, Nepean, Hawkesbury, Hills District and Sydney.

As Part of Phil Young Photography, Sandra Young offers wedding and special occasion makeup and hair services in her Blue Mountains Salon or at your location. Sandra has been a beautician in the Blue Mountains, about 10 minutes from penrith, for 20 years specialising in natural looking makeup that enhances a clients natural beauty. As a discount for combining wedding photography, makeup and hair you will save on the total price. You can also select wedding photography or hair and makeup separately.

Wedding Photography

Phil Young Photography aims to capture the romance, joy and celebration in their wedding photography by packaging high quality wedding photography, hair and makeup services (together or separate), great lighting and drammatic effects to ensure your special day is captured and remembered in all its emotion and beauty. For our wedding photography we use a combination of photojournalism and traditionally posed images to reflect the uniqueness of the couple being married and to ensure the family photographs look stunning.

Every wedding photography package available gives you a disk with every high resolution photograph the photographers take during the day. We use 2 wedding photographers at times during the day to ensure a variety of photographs then to help the posing run smoothly; one photographer helps with organising groups, posing and lighting. We have a selection of flexible photography packages that suit all requirements and budgets.

Portrait Photography

As well as wedding photography we offer portrait photography. All portrait photography is done at various locations of your choice around the Blue Mountains, Penrith and other locations of your choice or our photographer can suggest places if you haven't got a preference.

Our use of off camera lighting gives our portrait images an almost studio quality portrait look while utilising the scenery and natural lighting of the day. You will receive both quality and a variety of looks and styles to your portrait photographs.

Every portrait photography package includes all photographs taken on a DVD disk; they are all high resolution and ready to print. For more information about portrait packages.

Commercial Photography

Commercial photography including product, catalogue, events and advertising using flare and technical expertise to ensure innovative quality. You can have your photographs taken in the Blue Mountains 10 minutes from Penrith or we can come to you. For more information about commercial photography.

Makeup & Hair

Sandra does beautiful bridal makeup and hair that allows a wedding photographer to photograph from all angles. Sandra enhances the natural beauty so photographs show the bride or individual being photographed as a timeless classic with flawless skin and hair. All the girls in your wedding party or group will look and feel beautiful throughout the day with hair and makeup that is individually tailored to bring out their unique beauty.
